Site specific installation of a 12’ x 28’ black fishing net on which hundreds of PETE # 1 clear plastic water lilies will be attached.

The public will participate by attaching the water lilies to the net with fishing filaments continuing a kind of symbolic tradition of communal fishing net mending in the hope of raising awareness about our ever threatened oceans. LED lights will be incorporated to make the piece visible during the night of June 5th to 6th.
